Christ has no body now on earth but
yours.
Yours are the hands by which He is
to bless us now.
St.
Teresa of Avila
At St. Katharine Drexel Parish School
We are a community who
Proclaims;
Prays;
Serves; and
Strives for Reconciliation.
As we journey together through this
Season of Mercy,
focusing on the
Corporal Works of Mercy
We will
Feed the
Hungry
whether that hunger be
physical, emotional, spiritual,
intellectual
Visit the
Sick
however that sickness manifests itself
Bury the
Dead
by praying for the families of those who
have died and
by digging deep to eliminate spiritual
death caused by
bullying, negativity, hatred, despair,
prejudice
Clothe the
Naked
by supporting those in need through
Clothes for Kids, St. Vincent de Paul
Society, and other
local, national and international
programs
Shelter
the Homeless
by welcoming into our school and parish
family
those who feel alone and forgotten
Give Drink
to the Thirsty
by inviting all to drink the waters of
forgiveness,
the waters of education, the waters of
emotional support
Visit the
Imprisoned
We are imprisoned in many ways,
sometimes of our own making.
We will reach out to those who feel
isolated from others.
We will break down the doors of
ignorance.
We share the journey.
Through all of these, we hope to make a
positive impact on our students, their families,
and our community by compassionately serving as the
hands, feet, and eyes of Christ.
