Help Send Off Our Grads In Style!
The faculty and staff of St. Katharine Drexel School invite you to
the
Graduation Mass. The mass will be held on
May 30, 2008 at 7:00 P.M. in the
Spring Street Church. A reception in the School Gym will follow mass.
A Fond Farewell
Several teachers will be leaving the SKDS Family at the end of this
school year. They have served the students and families
abundantly with many gifts and varied talents. We were blessed to have
them and will keep them in our thoughts and prayers. Thanks again from
the bottom of our hearts to Mrs. Denise Caul, Miss Lynnette Diericks,
and Mrs. Mary Mersch.
Congrats to 8th Grade Award Recipients!
The final awards assembly took place on Tuesday, May 27. Each year,
the eighth graders receive several awards prior to
graduation. Hats off to all award winners! To view all

Last Day is Field Day
The last day for students is Tuesday, June 2. We have a special day
planned beginning with mass at 8:45 a.m. This mass is open to the public; please
join us!
During Field Day, students participate in games and activities with
buddies and classmates to celebrate another successful and rewarding
year. Thanks to all of you for being part of another great year!

Report Cards
You may pick up report cards beginning Friday, June 20. All fees, fines, and tuition must be paid
and materials must be returned in order to receive your child’s report
card.
Need a Summer Tutor?
Mrs. Emily McCarthy will tutor students in her home this summer. If
you are interested, call school at 885-5558 ext. 25 and leave a message
or call her home at 885-4550.
Sponsor an Ad and Help Advertise Our Great School!
The Public Relations Committee would like to sponsor a full page spread
once a month in The Daily Citizen. This ad would showcase events
and activities at SKDS.
We need sponsors to cover the cost of the advertising. Thank you to
those who have already purchased an ad. We still need to sell the rest
of the spaces! Prices are as follows:
1x1 spaces at $25/month for 11 months: 6 needed
1x2 spaces at $50/month for 11 months: 19 needed
1x3 spaces at $75/month for 11 months: 2 needed

Home and School Needs You!
We are looking for people to fill positions in the Home and School
Association and on the executive board (board members serve a 1 year
term -- no experience necessary). This is a fun group where you can

Michael’s School and St. Patrick’s School (1954, 1956,1972). Do you
