Ms. Hoch

Ms. Kathy Hoch started at St. Katharine Drexel School in 1989 as the vocal music instructor. Before this she taught in Watertown for one year, Mosinee, one year and Stevens Point, two years. Currently, Ms. Hoch teaches K4 through eighth grade vocal music, fourth and fifth grade Spanish.

Born in Madis
on, Wis. and raised in the Arlington, Wis. area, Ms. Hoch is married to Alan Strohschein. Her favorite activities include: reading, sewing, walking and cross-stitch.

When asked why she became a teacher, Ms. Hoch replied, “I wanted to share music with others and wanted to be like my high school choir director and my piano teacher.”

The most favorite part of her job is sharing music with the students at SKDS. Ms. Hoch offered the following words of advice for students: “Try your best.”
