Mrs. Kreitzman
 Mrs.
Sandy Kreitzman has been our Kindergarten teacher at SKDS since 1993.
Prior to her service at St. Katharine Drexel School, Mrs. Kreitzman taught
Head Start for five years in Minnesota.
Mrs. Kreitzman was exposed to teaching at a very early age. Her mother was
an elementary school teacher, and she influenced Mrs. Kreitzman’s decision
to pursue a degree in teaching. Mrs. Kreitzman said, “I realized how much I
wanted to help and be around children.”
When asked what her favorite thing is about her job, Mrs. Kreitzman
replied, “I love the children and their enthusiasm for learning. It is
wonderful to see the world through the eyes of a child. The parent
support for Catholic education is also an added bonus.”
Originally from the tiny town of Wabasso, Minnesota (population 678),
Mrs. Kreitzman now lives in Beaver Dam. She enjoys spending time with
her husband, Rodney, and daughters, McKenna and Hanna. In her spare
time, Mrs. Kreitzman likes reading, flower gardening, golfing, exercising,
watching football, and shopping with her daughters.
Mrs. Kreitzman’s words of advice for students: “Always try your best, be
proud of yourself, and use the talents God has given you in a positive
way.”
Her favorite quotation: “To give anything less than your best is to
sacrifice the Gift.”
