Miss Bille
Miss Emily Bille is the two-day preschool, four-year
old Kindergarten and Reading Resource teacher here at SKDS. She started
teaching at the beginning of the 2009/2010 school year. Miss Bille
graduated from UW-Whitewater in 2008 and said, “I am so excited to be
part of such a supportive and caring school family.”
She lives with her family in Alto, which is right outside of Waupun,
where they have a dairy farm. Miss Bille keeps busy playing softball,
shopping, reading, spending time with family and friends and helping on
the farm.
When asked why she became a teacher, Miss Bille said, “I had many
outstanding teachers growing up and want to make a difference in young
children's lives just like they did for me. I love to spend time with
children -- they are full of life and teach us how to enjoy the ‘little
things’ that we sometimes forget about.”
The best part of her job? “Every day is a new day! I get to laugh, play,
sing, pray, and learn right along with my students,” she said.
Her words of advice to students: “Be yourself and dream big!” And her
favorite quotation is from Mother Teresa – “We shall never know all the
good that a simple smile can do.”
