Mrs. Ramer
Mrs. Jean Ramer teaches third graders
here at St. Katharine Drexel School, where she has been teaching for 6
years. Currently, she teaches all subjects except science. Prior
to working at SKDS, Mrs. Ramer taught 2nd Grade at Wilson
School in Beaver Dam for 6.5 years and tutored at the Beaver Dam High
School for 5 years.
As a child, Mrs. Ramer wanted to be a
teacher since she was in fourth grade. She just loved school. When
asked what she likes about being a teacher, Mrs. Ramer replied, “I love
being with the children when we are doing some activity and they are
excited about learning.”
Originally from Kimberly, Wisconsin,
Mrs. Ramer has 5 children with her late husband. In her free time, she
enjoys reading, singing, sewing, and camping.
Mrs. Ramer’s words of advice for
students: “Always do your best and do not get discouraged. Everybody
learns at their own speed.”
