Mrs. Ramer
Mrs.
Jean Ramer teaches second graders
here at St. Katharine Drexel School, where she has been teaching
since 2001. Prior
to working at SKDS, Mrs. Ramer taught second grade at Wilson School in
Beaver Dam for over six years and tutored at the Beaver Dam High
School for five years.
As a child, Mrs. Ramer wanted to be a
teacher since she was in fourth grade. She just loved school. When
asked what she likes about being a teacher, Mrs. Ramer replied, “I love
being with the children when we are doing some activity and they are
excited about learning.”
Originally from Kimberly, Wis.,
Mrs. Ramer has five children with her late husband. In her free time,
she enjoys reading, singing, sewing, and camping.
Mrs. Ramer’s words of advice for
students: “Always do your best and do not get discouraged. Everybody
learns at their own speed.”
