Mrs. Ramer

Mrs. Jean Ramer teaches third graders here at St. Katharine Drexel School, where she has been teaching for 6 years.  Currently, she teaches all subjects except science.   Prior to working at SKDS, Mrs. Ramer taught 2^nd Grade at Wilson School in Beaver Dam for 6.5 years and tutored at the Beaver Dam High School for 5 years.

As a child, Mrs. Ramer wanted to be a teacher since she was in fourth grade.  She just loved school.   When asked what she likes about being a teacher, Mrs. Ramer replied, “I love being with the children when we are doing some activity and they are excited about learning.”

Originally from Kimberly, Wisconsin, Mrs. Ramer has 5 children with her late husband.  In her free time, she enjoys reading, singing, sewing, and camping. 

Mrs. Ramer’s words of advice for students:  “Always do your best and do not get discouraged.  Everybody learns at their own speed.”
