Mrs. Rampanelli
Mrs. Deborah Rampanelli has been with St.
Katharine Drexel School since 1990. She teaches fifth grade students all
subjects except Science. Prior to her service at SKDS, Mrs. Rampanelli
taught preschool for one year and third grade for 7 years. Both of her
previous jobs were in Lower Michigan.
Mrs. Rampanelli was born in Indiana. Her father was in the military so
she moved around a lot as a child. She attended many different schools,
including overseas. Her family finally settled in Upper Michigan, where
she graduated from high school.
Mrs. Rampanelli has been married to Bruce, a high school teacher, for
over 32 years. They have two adult daughters, Rebecca (married to
Matthew) and Sarah. Both daughters are also teachers. Mrs. Rampanelli
also has a cute little grandson named Sam.
In her spare time, Mrs. Rampanelli loves to cook and READ. She enjoys
traveling, music and attending Broadway musicals. She is also a Green
Bay Packer fan.
If you ask her why she became a teacher, Mrs. Rampanelli will tell you,
“I Don’t really know. It is all I can ever remember that I wanted to
be.” Mrs. Rampanelli says the best parts of her job are the kids and her
co-workers.
Words of advice from Mrs. Rampanelli: “Always give it your all and try
your hardest.”
