What do I need to know after applying?
Once your application is received, someone from Administration will contact you. An interview (before enrollment) with the Principal/Administrator is required. “All students are on probation during the first trimester of their attendance at a Catholic School.” (5110a) During this time, SKDS will determine whether or not it can meet the needs of the student. Admission to PreSchool requires a child to be three (3) years old on or before September 1 in the year (s)he proposes to enter school. Admission to 4K is done through the Beaver Dam Public School System. Admission to Kindergarten requires a child to be five (5) years old on or before September 1 in the year (s)he proposes to enter school. Admission to the first grade requires a child to be six (6) years old on or before September 1 in the year (s)he proposes to enter school. A review of school records from the student’s previous school experiences and/or permission to speak with the student’s previous teachers is required before registration. An enrollment link will be sent to you upon successful completion of the interview.
We host Kindergarten and Preschool registration roundups annually in Late January or early February and March. We work closely with the Beaver Dam Public School System to register students for the 4K program district-wide.

- Tuition assistance: Any information you might need on tuition assistance, including applications, can be found here. Please note: You must be a registered parishioner at St Katharine Drexel Parish to apply for Tuition Assistance. Applications are accepted in April/May for the following school year.
