SKDS has become my second home, and I am excited to continue teaching here as a Learning Support Coordinator. I graduated from UW-Oshkosh with a degree in Early-Middle Childhood Education in 2010 and began my career as an early childhood educator. In 2014, I joined SKDS, teaching 3K and 4K. I recently completed a Cross-Categorical Special Education licensure program at Viterbo University, and I am completing a Dyslexia and Language Based Learning certification program at UW-Whitewater this semester. I truly believe that each student is a gift from God, each with his/her own gifts and talents. Helping students use those gifts and talents to overcome obstacles they may come to is the highlight of teaching for me.
Aside from teaching, I live in the Beaver Dam area with my husband and our three children. We love being outdoors, trying new challenges together, attending sporting events, and spending time reading or playing games as a family.
