My life has been immersed in music and the arts for as long as I can remember. I began playing clarinet and singing in the church choir and school choirs. I took dance classes and eventually took over for my teacher at Oconomowoc Park and Recreation Department for 45 years and Watertown Park and Recreation for 35 years, all while teaching both general music and band in various parochial schools and later teaching at Charter schools in Milwaukee's inner city for 20 years. Most recently, I was with the Hartland Arrowhead feeder schools. I then decided to retire. But that was short-lived, as I received a call from Dodgeland where I filled in for this past year. Once again, I decided to retire. However, I soon realized I wasn't quite ready and decided to sub for a couple of districts. Enter St. Katherine's... this is the perfect scenario as it is part-time, and I will know where I will be each day and will really get to know the students one-on-one.
